Jim’s Auto Care has been a trusted name in automotive repair since 1977, when Jim Bair first opened the doors. For decades, the shop has been a staple in the community, providing honest and reliable service to local drivers. In 2013, the business transitioned to new ownership, continuing its legacy under someone who shares Jim’s dedication to quality and integrity.

A Passion for Auto Repair and Honest Service

Current owner Shaun Robertson started his journey into the automotive world at the age of 16, working on cars and quickly developing a deep understanding of the industry. By 21, he had earned the role of lead technician but soon became frustrated with the dishonesty he encountered in the field. Determined to create a shop built on integrity, Shaun returned to his hometown at 24 and took over Jim’s Auto Care. For over a decade, Shaun balanced his role as a hands-on lead technician while managing the business, and now he focuses on overseeing operations and building relationships with customers.

Meet the Team

Jim’s Auto Care is home to a dedicated group of professionals who bring skill, knowledge, and passion to their work. Jamie, our lead service advisor from the UK, is known for his outstanding customer service and in-depth automotive expertise. Sam, an aspiring service writer, brings a friendly, customer-focused approach to the team. Dan, our master-certified technician, specializes in Asian vehicles and has years of experience handling complex repairs. Dom is a rising diagnostician, showcasing remarkable talent in troubleshooting vehicle issues. Elliot has been part of the shop since he was 16, officially joining full-time last June, and continues to grow as a skilled technician. Alex, our general service technician, joined us through the local trade school program at Lake High School and has been a valuable addition to the shop.

Family, Hobbies, and Life Beyond the Shop

Outside of work, Shaun enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. Hunting, fishing, motorcycles—if it has an engine, it’s a passion. He and his wife, Cami, have been married for 11 years and are raising three wonderful children. Charlie, their daughter, has a love for horses, while their son Talon thrives in the outdoors and could easily survive in the wild. Their youngest, Trace, has a carefree spirit and a love for life. Cami plays a crucial role in their family, homeschooling all three children and dedicating herself to their education and growth.
